Our guide pretty much made the whole trip for us. He knew the trail, the plants, the weather stuff, actually, I thought maybe he was going to over-explain it at first, but he kept it interesting without going overboard. He kept everyone moving at a comfortable pace, was easy to talk to, and even cooked some solid meals. I felt safe the entire time and had a lot more fun than I expected. Would definitely book again

I haven’t actually gone on the trip yet, but planning with Wildland Trekking has been super easy so far. Compared to other companies I’ve looked at, they were way quicker to answer my questions and actually helped me figure out which hike made the most sense for my dates and fitness level. Booking was straightforward too. It felt like I was talking to real people who wanted to help, not just someone trying to sell me something. Definitely feeling excited for the trip now

I kind of regret not giving the rented gear a closer look before heading out. Some of it felt worn, and my sleeping pad kept losing air during the night, which made it tough to get decent sleep.

I booked a hike with Wildland Trekking i was expecting there might be a gap between the trail rating and what it actually felt like once we were out there. But it was pretty much exactly as described. It wasn’t unexpectedly easy, and it definitely wasn’t way harder than they made it sound. That helped a lot with knowing what to pack and how to pace myself. I really appreciated the accuracy because it made the whole trip feel a lot less stressful.

The views were unreal. The routes were great too, and it just made the whole thing really enjoyable.

I really liked how our guide made sure we stayed on the trail, picked up even little tiny pieces of trash, and talked about water refills without sounding preachy about it. It just felt like they actually cares about the places they’re taking people through.

Overall, it was a good trip and felt fairly priced. I’d say for what we paid, we got about what we expected, maybe even a little more. Definitely worth the money for sure.

I was a little confused at first about how the group dynamic would be on our Wildland Trekking trip, since I wasn’t sure if a smaller group would feel awkward or too quiet. But it ended up being a really nice size — not so many people that you felt invisible, but enough to keep things fun and interesting. Somehow everyone just started clicking after the first day.

Our guide also did a great job handling the different hiking speeds, which I appreciated because I wasn’t totally sure how that would work without people getting spread out. Nobody seemed rushed or left behind, and the whole thing felt relaxed and easygoing. I’d definitely go again.

Booking the trip went through okay, but some parts of the site were, not sure how to explain it, just a bit unclear. I ended up going back a few times to double-check the details before I paid. Overall it wasn’t bad, but the process could definitely be smoother.

The meals were tasty and better than I thought they’d be. I just wish there had been more fresh fruit available. It was a bit disappointing, and I feel like some acknowledgment or an apology for that would’ve been appreciated

I booked a trip with Wildland Trekking, and overall the hiking part was really good. The guides were solid, the trails were beautiful, and the days felt well planned. The lodging, though, was kind of all over the place. A couple spots were clean, quiet, and totally fine, like the kind of place where you can shower, crash, and not think about it too much. But one room felt old, the bed was uncomfortable, the furniture looked worn, and after hiking all day, every little thing stood out more than it normally would.
I know these trips are often in areas where there aren’t a ton of hotel choices, so I wasn’t expecting a resort, fancy breakfast, fluffy robes, a spa, or anything like that. I just thought for the price it would feel a little more even from night to night. Some places felt perfectly acceptable, some felt a bit tired, and one was just not great. So I wouldn’t say the lodging ruined the trip, because it didn’t, but it was definitely more average than amazing

The communication before the trip wasn’t great. Replies were really slow, and the info I got wasn’t very clear, which made planning more stressful than it needed to be. If it keeps going like this, I’d probably look at booking with someone else next time.

Well... the transportation ended up being one of the easiest parts of the whole trip. I was a little nervous about getting to the trailhead and making it back afterward, but Wildland Trekking had everything dialed in. The pickup was right on time, the van was clean, and the driver clearly knew the route. After the hike, it was such a relief not to deal with parking or figuring out a ride. It made the whole experience feel way less stressful
